FAQ
Can you tell me a little about the process? We have an awesome team of photographers who have been trained to work in the same style and are all brilliant with young children. A few weeks after photo day parents are given access to their private, online digital system to take care of ordering and processing payments. We minimally interrupt classroom schedules and provide a unique product to your families. We always work in teams of photographer and an assistant to help with organising the children and getting them ready for their photos.
What do you need from the centre? We will need just a few things from you, including daily classroom schedules/roll, and a list of any special instructions or sensitive information you think may be pertinent. Also, if your centre utilises a bulk email system to notify parents of various announcements, we would love to take advantage of that a couple of times during this process to remind and encourage participation. If additional items pop up along the way, we will be sure to communicate those needs with you.
Do you photograph siblings? Yes! We photograph all siblings attending your centre. Due to time constraints we are unable to photograph siblings who do not attend the centre.
Do parents need to pre-pay? We photograph all children in attendance while we are at your centre, unless requested otherwise. There are no forms for parents to hand in and registrations and ordering is all online.There is no obligation for parents to order photos.?
Do you have insurance? Yes. We have public liability insurance. We are happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.
Where do you take the pictures? We usually shoot exclusively outdoors, preferably under some type of canopy or verandah and out in the playground. Safety is our first priority, second only to ideal lighting conditions, which are best achieved by the use of natural sunlight. If the weather our normal sunny Queensland we may need space to set up inside.
Will we have to re-schedule for inclement weather? Thanks to our wonderful Brisbane climate, it is not likely that we will have to make adjustments because of the weather, but in the cases where there there is a lot of rain/storm, high winds we occasionally need to postpone. We will keep in close contact with your centre if the forecast looks doubtful and will do my very best to minimise postponements and work together with you to reschedule at the earliest possible date.
How do parents pay you? Our entire system is hosted online. Proofs are released for viewing through an online link, and all orders and payments are processed online. The kindy/daycare does not have to worry about printed proofs, order forms, or handling/processing money. Our online system takes care of everything.
How long does the whole process take? After we take the pictures, it will take approximately 3 weeks before proofs are ready for parents to view. The order deadline will be listed for 2weeks after proof release. Once all orders are in, products will be delivered to your centre2 weeks later.
What does it cost for the families? Ordering photos is completely optional. We offer both print packages as well as digital files parents can print themselves. Individual prints start at $20 and our print packages start at$35. We also offer custom products, such as canvas prints and framed enlargements.
Staff photos We photograph all staff a complimentary group print of any group they are pictured in.
Staff with children attending centre We offer staff a $45 credit - enough to purchase Package 1 or they can choose to put it towards a different package.
